Question clans, era's, units - Historical Japan

Looking at making a selection of campaigns in different era's,
    with different objectives,
    and different units

where i have stated "clan X represented by clan Z",
that means I dont have clan X in the game,
but i do have a large chunk of members of clan X as part of clan Z,
so I will use clan Z and simply promote the members of clan X to be the Daimyo of clan Z.

(The Taketora clan are an amalgam of Historical and Fictional Characters,
backed up by an array of historical heroes who dont fit anywhere else.
    I think you'll like them)

Otherwise I need some Realistic Ideas please

for the following era's, and wars,
    which clans and which units??

you can pick an era or war and fill in the gaps,
and i will update this post with that information/idea

you do not have to fill in all the era's or wars

seeing that I am the one doing all the Clan Research
    - you do NOT have to figure out which clan i should substitue

    The winds that blows -
ask them, which leaf on the tree
    will be next to go.
