Wow! Stellar work so far. It's really interesting to see how your work has developed through the life of the thread. You've improved noticeably.

I think I've come up with a request that seems untapped so far. Namely, Denmark! How about a sig of some Norse War Clerics? I'd prefer fairly tight shot (say medium-close), and preferably combat against some interesting infantry unit. Maybe one of the uniques from a natural Danish foe? I'm thinking it might look good in a settlement with buildings for backdrop, but that's certainly not necessary - I'm cool with whatever is in the background when you come up with a sweet screenshot. Not sure what text I want on it besides "Foz"... so if anyone has any ideas, just shout 'em out, I'm listening.

Dag Ranos ! That's from the historic battle, but you can also mod the game to have him in the game. I don't have a link handy but someone in the M2:TW modding forums should be able to help. Doooiiieee !

Wow Sinan... you weren't kidding when you said how much fun this is. I sat down to see if I could figure out the cinematic editor... and before I knew it, I had a camera set up and rendered like 10 GB of game footage, lol. I grabbed a screenshot of a scene I liked, cropped it, slapped some effects on it, added text, and saved a JPG. It feels funny, though, that from 10 GB of game footage, the end use is a mere 10 KB. That's something like a 1,000,000:1 ratio, isn't it? It's pretty hilarious to think about.

Anyway, I guess that means you don't have to worry about my request! Sorry if that steals your thunder or anything, I didn't really mean to, it just kinda happened. OTOH, it looks like you have plenty of requests rolling in to keep you busy. Speaking of those, I'll see what screenshots I can get to since I've gone to the trouble of learning how use the cinematic editor.

For anyone who's interested, you can see the end result of the sig in... well, my sig and here is the initial screenshot plus 2 pics from stages along the way:

This one will probably be quite hard to do (or maybe not, I don't have enough disk space to work with the Cinematic Editor or even FRAPS so... I have not one clue, really. Like that's ever stopped me from talking) but here's one shot I'd like.
Picture this : close up on a French lancer or noble knight, dismounted during his charge on a pikewall (maybe fully upgraded Tercio ?) in that head-over-heels move knights sometimes do on impact, with the shot taken when he's halfway off his saddle.

Extra points if you can get frame/angle it in a way that looks like he's going to fly right into another pike.

And the caption ? Why, "God's bum !" of course !

Well I would still very much like a sig if it's not to much trouble. (How would I upload it? Hmm..) It'd be good to show support for the fellow cavalry nuts lol. I'm thinking a group of Tsar's guard charging (for enemy polish somethings...), with the armour upgrade (masks.) in Black forest, heavy fog, sunrise etc. For a saying how about... "St. Micheal and the motherland!" Thanks in advance! This is very appreciated!

Yeah... I dunno much about how to get fog into a pic, lol. I'd have either picked the 3rd pic that showed the fog in the background best, or else have given up on the fog effect. Even in the end result you just posted it isn't very evident that there's fog. I probably would have just opted to highlight the interesting light patterns hitting the horses and riders through the treeline in one of the shots and forgotten about the fog entirely. Maybe darken the shadows a bit extra to make the difference more apparent, too.

Your second effort is a way big improvement over the first one though, so cheers for that. And the one for Tristrem I really like!

Foz your screens are PERFECT. It's me who does'nt know how to deal with the fog, bright and sunny that I am LOL. I WILL figure it out. Your shots are brilliant, they are like a white canvas, absolutely pure. Thanks for the good tips, I'm going to try that.

First I have to say all those pictures are awesome. Very good work.
The 1870 painting of a Finnish soldier is pretty nice...

I've got a little job to offer if you are up to the challenge...
It's a charging hakkapeliitta, or maybe 2 or 3 of them. Yes, I know there are no hakkapeliittas in MTW2. And I'm pretty sure you have never even heard of them.
A hakkapeliitta was a Finnish cavalryman fighting for the Swedish king during the Thirty years war, for example. They were lightly armoured riders armed with two pistols and a sword. Unlike their peers, these men fired two volleys at close range and then charged the enemy, using their horses as weapons as well as swords.
They greatly resemble the reiters in MTW2. Reiters got only one pistol and a spear though.. With some skill and time one could edit a picture of reiters to look like hakkapeliittas.

Sig Request

- 2-3 Reiters
- At least one firing a pistol
- One with a sword if it's possible
- Armour: the non-upgraded reiter armor is fine although the non-upgraded arquebusier outlook would be cool.
- At least one riding a white horse, if possible
- no rider wearing those ugly yellowish pants they sometimes have

- Landscape etc.
- Something like Thirty years war landscape; Lombardy seems pretty good.
- Weather clear, time aftenoon.

- Misc.
- Preferably no enemies visible
- Hakkapeliittas charging obliquely towards the camera (not directly towards)
- Text "Cut them down!"

Those were only some kind of guidelines. Feel free to use your creativity and imagination. Who am I to restrict artists' freedom of creation?
