Although campaigns can take days to complete, and the feature may not have been utilised, i still think CA should have included an option to do multiplayer campaigns. Just LAN, as online would have been impossible. The ability to save your multiplayer campaign and come back to it later would be a must.

Do you guys (the bare few that visit this forum :( ) this this would have been brilliant?

those are very difficult to implement, and even in Empire, where we were promised it, we still don't have it. I wouldn't count on seeing it for the nest 2 or 3 games.

however, yes, it would have been very cool.

no. M2 does, but even that is not an online campaign, however it is popular to make a save on it, host it on a filesharing site, and for multiple players to play it and host the saves.

Thats going to extraordinary lengths just for a sort of psuedo-multiplayer way of playing.

thats my point. it is a bit borign when waiting on everyone to go, especially when people have events and vacations to do, or simply dont want to play anymore. plous you dont get to fight other people in battle!

but still, its the closest we have right now.
