I think I took it too far when I asked what he was wearing...

Wood Elves look fine, they can't be all skinny if they are wearing their cloaks and what not.

Wow, this is the greatest MTW 2 mod i ´ve ever seen.

    I really like the Skaven.

But i think the Chaos warriors look to "clean". I think there should be a bigger difference between the warriors of the different gods than just the colour of their armor. Even their bodies, colour of skin etc. should be different, because Chaos warriors have a much stronger affinity to the chaos and their gods than normal men of the north.

For example a Nurgle Warrior should look infested, mephitic and rotten. There should be splashes of slime and blood all over the armor. They should kinda look like being adnate to their armors.
Well, don´t just look at the miniatures, also look at the artwork. When the army book of chaos came out, there were articles for every chaos god in the White Dwarf. And there was a short story about an attack of a nurgle army and the warriors were descriped as really terrible looking creatures. They were followed by swarms of flies and yellos fog. Of course you can´t do that in your mod ^^
But the Nurgle guys should look like something to fear about.

Khorne warriors would need fur, skulls and animal teeths on their armor.
They could also get vampire or beast fangs, i saw that on a drawing in the White Dwarf.

Slaanesh warriors should be exotic. You could give them silk and jewellry.

To the skin colour: The Slaanesh warriors of the studio army have a very pale, a little bit blue skin. Also Slaanesh Warriors should look more handsome, they shouldn´t be ugly beard faces^^

Awesome! Love beastmen! I collected a few back in the day.

I always thought the 'base' beastman was a bit skinnier than that though. Of course the veterans should be bulky, but the normal beastmen (imo) should be a bit more scrawny. Also, aren't they supposed to have completely animal heads? Not this kind of human/beast mix... they're more like... Trollocs.

On that note Alletun, I wish I could have hypnotised/brainwashed you back in WoT days. Alternatively, I wish I was as good with 3DS max as you.

Everything about this Beastmen is great - from texturing to modelling. Can't wait to see the animation for his legs in-game.

I like to offer helpful critique on how to make models better, but I'm drawing a blank. It's perfect in its grittiness and sheer animalistic .... pah.. I'm lost for words. If anything perhaps it might be the hair in the middle of the chest looks a bit like just a black spot. But it's pretty minor, and does look a bit like hair.

    You are correct.

There are several types of beastmen:

    The Brays
The runts, smallest weakest and have no horns

    The Ungors
Bigger than the brays but are weaker, less intelligent and physically smaller than the Gors.

    The Gors
Bigger, stronger tougher than the Ungors

    The Bestigors
The Elite beastmen type, they are the biggest and strongest, they use the best weapons and armour of all Beastmen.

There has to be something lurking in the Imperial forests, mm?

    To answer questions:

    From the GW website

(Ungor on the left, Gor on the right)

    GORS
The most powerful Beastmen are called Gors. Their appearance varies more greatly than most races but all combine some bestial features with those of a man. The base form of the Beastmen, and that possessed by the vast majority, has come to be that of the head and legs of a goat and the upper body of a man. As creatures of Chaos, however, the Beastmen display almost infinite variations of this guise. Many have the horns or head of cattle rather than goats, while others may possess even stranger mutations.

    UNGORS
Ungors are not as strong, tough or intelligent as the Gors. They are physically smaller and their horns are almost always less impressive and numerous. Ungor are extremely cruel and spiteful creatures, taking out their jealously of the Gors on foes in battle, captives, Brays (those Beastmen without any horns) or anything else incapable of putting up much of a fight. In battle the Ungors join the Gors in unruly herds, charging towards the enemy with thoughts only of rending them apart. The Gors always push their way to the front of a fight, and so the Ungors jab between their larger cousins with their crude spears.
Nutella's guy is a Gor - a base beastman shape. I can't wait to see it with some gear and shoddy armor! That guy is amazing, Nutella. Hacking apart Ungor spearmen and unruly Gor warbands with imperial patrols is going to be great.
