Hi,
I am currently skinner for a REALLY good mod called Inca Total War. The problem is that no one knows of it or ever checks the forums. We would like to get peoples attention, but the only way is by posting on the forums that no one ever checks. :(

I have an idea for the Org. Why not have a mod of the day on the front page where you cycle through active mods in progress and have a short description of them and a link to their forums. This would help mod makers a lot. A mod is great, but does no good if no one knows of it. My idea would help keep RTW (and the Org) alive.

Could you do this?

The Gahzette goes over a mod or two every issue. Perhaps you could talk to one of the Mod guys about doing something for you guys.

This seems like a good idea, I know of many good mods (Mediaeval Auctoriso comes to mind) which are not getting the attention they deserve and need.

I think you misunderstood me. Here is my idea copied directly from a PM I sent you.

"You could have a database where mod developers could post their most current updates (and they could approved by the mods before they're allowed).
You could then have a part of the front page that would display one randomly everytime someone visited the page. You could have size restrictions and all that of course. I think that modders would find this VERY helpful. People would get to see some of the out of the way mods that don't make it to the front page normally."

What do you think?

Hello,

I'm looking at means, also intend to catch other birds with the same stone. Oddly enough, even large projects don't seem to offer what I consider basic things. So, it's at least going to take a while.

In the meantime, any modteam can just PM some text and image to me (because some milestone is completed or just an ad) and it will be posted on the frontpage. That's always been an option.

I'm not much of a writer, so if you ask me to come up with something, it will be like: "x a mod for totalwar, link to forum". But that can be done too if you think it's catchy.
