DL'd new patch and now...

The game loads up , but when I go to choose a new country to play the games loads and right before it enters the map it crashes to desktop...I cant find my RTW disks and it worked perfectly before...help?

Sounds like you need to uninstall and reinstall everything.
If you can't find your discs...

I have the same problem. But if I choose to continue a savegame, it works perfectly.

Could be a map.rwm problem...
Have you tried deleting it?

Sadly removing map.rwm does not make any difference.

I checked whether I had a corrupt download, but that does not seem to be the case. Other potential computer issues have been checked for as well, such as too many processes running, or too little harddrive space / memory.

Except for money scripts my EB was completely unmodded. And the money scripts were overwritten, as they were part of EBBS_script.

I tried different factions at startup (Baktria, Epeiros, SPQR, Ptolemies), but to no avail.

Well, when it doesn't allow you to start a new campaign, it either means that something is missing (corrupt download/install), something is extra (other mods), or something is slightly off (wrong RTW patch version). Reinstalling usually will deal with any of those problems...
