Why can't I reconcile?

it might help if you stop killing the pope, I think you by now after killing 6+ popes and taking rome and killing several catholic factions, may not have alot of choices aside from giving back rome and giving a large cash settlement, and killing off your current leader for good measure.

"This is really irritating. I am killing the pope every turn for the last at least 6. I dont understand why im not reconsiled."
