Here is our Faction Preview No.2:
The Kushite Kingdom
Faction Leader:Nastasen
Nastasen was a king of the North African Nubian civilisation of Kush (3354 - 310/5 BC). He left an inscription at Gebe Barkal that mentions his military expeditions to the east of his kingdom, in the same area as his predecessor Harsiotef.
He was the last Kushite king to be buried in the royal cemetery at Napata. Subsequent kings were interred at Meroe.

-characters-
(I used only rulers from Kush during the time period Rome: Total War occurs in which is 270 BC to 14 AD. Each kings of Kush was called a "Qore" while each queen was called a "Kandake".)
King Arkamani-qo Ergamenês (270 BCE-260 BCE)
King Amanislo (260 BCE-250 BCE)
King Aman-tekha (250 BCE-235 BCE)
King Arnekhamani (235 BCE-218 BCE)
King Arqamani (218-200 BCE)
King Tabriqo (200 BCE-190 BCE)
Queen Shanakdakhete (177 BCE-155 BCE)
King Naqyrinsan (130 BCE-110 BCE)
King Tanyidamani (110 BCE-90 BCE)
King Nawidemak (50s BCE)
Queen Amanikhabale (50 BCE-40 BCE)
King Teriteqas alongside Queen Amanirenas at Napata (40 BCE-10 BCE)
Queen Amanishakheto (10 BCE-1 CE)
Queen Amanitore (1 CE-12 CE)
King Natakamani (12 CE-20 CE)
-notable history-
1074 BC: Kush united by Qore Alara
728 BC: Kush conquers Egypt
701 BC: Kush comes saves Jerusalem at Battle of Eltekh
671 BC: Kush forced out of Egypt by the Assyrians
591 BC: Egypt invades Kush and sacks its capital; capital moved to Meroe
24 BC: Kush invades Roman Egypt sacking several cities and roman forts
23 BC: Roman forces counter-attack taking much of northern Kush
22 BC: Romans and Kushites come to terms favorable to Kush
350s AD: Axum conquers Kush
I think it was a huge mistake for Rome Total War to leave these people out. They fought the Romans to a stand still and were around for a long time affecting civilizations in the Levant, North Africa and Southern Europe.
I'll try to post some pics of my skins soon. Got to learn how to do so, first. I'm not very good at modding and have made some decent skins for all my units. I'd really like to make a female cavalry general (like Amanirenas) or female elephant general (like Candace of Meroe).

Those seem like decent skins, although when taking preview shots, I would suggest using a higher video setting for unit detail, it doesn't do justice to the skins on low.
You should post at their TWC forums

Thnx for the positive encouragement. I want to make an Aksum mod for Barbarian invasion and include the Blemmyes as a barbarian faction (rome fought the Blemmyes constantly in nubia). Aksum was a christian state so i'll be able to take advantage of the religous aspects of BI (which I'm still learning about). I'll make sure to post on the TWC forums.
