Hey! After viewing the units in the unit cards, I was surprised to see some inconsistency amongst the armor values. Who agrees we should make some changes in the EDU so to fix these (for instance Thracian Peltast unit has the same defense value as the regular Peltast but, it has two extra leg greeves)?

New cards are in the documentation folder, uploaded to your Rome - Total War folder with the EB v1.0 download.

I'm back guys, however no eb for me now as I don't have a decent enough comp, this one i'm using can't even run vannila let alone eb. At the very least though I will now keep the first post up to date, however it realy would be better if someone else would take over the administration, with a new thread, as I no longer know what you guys are using to play. Just before I left I seem to remember some mention of battle net? did that ever take off? Well, hope you all have a great time with eb mp people, words cannot describe how jealous I am

Well a lot of people can get into battle net...

EXEPT FOR ME , and Gaius, (and maybe some other people I don't know). I have a wireless connection and everytime I log in my internet changes the IP address so I couldn't get the router to allow RTW in via an ip address because it will change it right after. Gaius doesn't have his CD key for MP.

Barakuku (sp) can't get his hamachi to work, madmatg was trying to help him but it didn't work. (there maybe some other people how can't get hamachi running)

Who's Gaius? As for the rest, I can't help you people, my uni's internet policy prohibits any program not directly pluged into a browser from conecting to the internet

Some one post a valid link and I'll edit it into the first post then.

Make sure it is a new map.rwm, delete the one in your folder atm, then start and close eb, then take the map.rwm and host it here: http://uploaded.to/

Then i'll edit it in replacment for the old one in the first post.

Hey I just wanted to ask you what do you feel about mp battles having the old skies and reflections.
Many people are complaining about the long load times so, it might help to use the older versions.

i would definitely be on that, wheer do i get that stuff at? also the mp edu is constantly being added to with the local mercs from each faction being put in so if yall want more complete mp edu for factions other than rome just holler at me and i'll send it to ya, also if you play a faction other than getai or rome, holler at me as i would like a list of the mercs taht can be found in your immediate area so i can add to the unit list

i dont think adding even more mercenaries is a good idea. isnt there already a great variety available? you are not trying to recreate v0.8's factions rosters are you?

no no i dont want there to be the huge rosters lol, but i think having the troops which were histrorically used by the factions, in their homelands and immediately neighboring areas is good. For example thracian peltasts are mercenaries, as well as belearic sligners, and kretan archers but they were used a good bit(from what little i know about them) so i would like to see the regional mercs as i said just local ones. i dont know whatdya think? i would probably be ok with no mercs as long as we nerf some factions mp unit lists as they came in the vanilla custome edu file. such as the romans who have a huge following of mercenary type units. what say you mp players?
