I finaly got my wireless up and running. Since my mom got rid of Cable and put Verizon DSL due to costs connecting the cables and making sure the phonelines worked was a pain in the ass. Plus work and lifting didn't allow much free time to tinker with it other than Tuesdays and a few hours on Saturdays. My bro showed up today and basically fixed it for me. One of the phone cables was not working so he trew that one away and put a newone in.

So now I FINALY have internet in my room and back to kick some A**

Got EB 1.1 up and running again, played my first MP match. Awesome stuff.
xfire name: schlappi379 - i already sent some "friend" requests to some of you.

Just - whats up with the unit roster? KH - no hellenic skirmishers, Romani - camillan hastati, polybian triari, rest is post-marian plus a lot of barbarians.

I did not modify any map.rwm or edugamebackup stuff since i assumed that applied to the older 0.8xx version, or...?

You must switch to the MP edu to get a clean, factional roster in MP and custom battles. It's a result from the AoR.

when i enter my cd key (mine is on a green slip which said manual corrections for CD key)
i looked at the FAq and i put the dashes
but to no avail it kept saying cd key invalid
ive had this forever sincei had RTW vanilla

You need to run it using the Multiplayer shortcut using the trivial script.

I'm not Foot, but I hope you'll accept my answer anyway.

All you do is you log on to the same hamachi channel as your opponent, then start up EB and go to multiplayer where you then choose LAN. Voilà!

hi good to see there's still more people joining MP think we made one a junky in the first day

what do people think of maybe a MP total war mod forum looking into creating one, as most can't get MT2W MP working think it best time to try and do it

Thanks teh1337tim and brucaliffo for a couple of nice battles last night. I usually prefer 1vs1 or 2vs2 but our 3-sided free for all match was best. Nothing like fighting and yelling "traitorous iberians", "punic bastards" or "roman cowards" while fighting.

I really appreciated our session, lets do this again some time.

I just played a really HUGE battle with gourmetitalia: we, greeks and epeirotes, against thousands of barbarians!

Hehe, when battling teh1337tim i noticed the desyncronisation was bad bad the last times. We had completely different battle results - when i played kinghannibal i assumed i won three times, it was only after our last battle i noticed he thought the same! Anyway, i installed plain version now, no permanent fixes, now it works - and i lost all battles :D

Desyncronization is really bad: the same happened to me and a friend of mine playing Medieval 2!

After a lot of try and error, i produced my first EB online battle with voice commentary (hurray!), actually my first video ever (hurray #2!) and uploaded it on youtube.

hi schlappi sorry not posted here for awhile watch the replay/movie very good I think people get a better idea of what happening when they can see bird eye views of the battlefield this isn't to say the battle wasn't good in anyway as the commonty told us what was happening and was nicely done

are you thinking about making anymore? I'll put this on the MP forums give people an idea of what MP's like on EB and might make them give it a try
