okay, Im an experianced modder for RTW, right now im working on the Napoleonic total war 2 mod for Rtw, and its not that hard. I just wanna look into modding mtw2.

For Rtw, to make a unit its basically

Make a model in 3ds max, Uv map it, Skin it, Export it, Make a texture in Tga format, Convert to dds, Make an animation, Edit the Descr_model_battle.txt.,Edit Export_descr_unit.txt, And make sure u edit some more text files, and its done.


How does it work for MTW2? i see stuff about meshs, textures, models,codding, scripting. Also what programs do you use? for rtw, you only needed 2. adope photoshop and 3ds max.
