I made a map and set up victory conditions, etc. on the battle editor (no scriting), but every time i try to play the battle, it goes back to the main menu. (it did not come up with any errors when saving)
Is there anything i can do to fix it?

there's a tut here somewhere, detailing quite complicated instructions. just use the search function and you'll find it. Good luck!
before you ask a RTW modding question make sure you have done these things:
1. At least read these two stickies in the Modding Questions forum: Introduction and Welcome
2. used the search function (upper right corner of your screen) to know if your Q has been asked before.
3. browsed the Modding Answers subforum, and the Scriptorium.
