    Default Sinuhet and Darth formation AI to EB

    This is My little remake formations AI Sinuhet 7.0 and Darth 16.2 . I working to more conformity with EB . I have permision this great men to work. P.S. Sorry for my english This is link http://files.filefront.com//;6390208;;/ or http://files.filefront.com/EB08_Sinu.../fileinfo.html

    Do darth formations actually improve anything for the AI? Or are they just different?

    Darth Formations make the A.I. perform better on the battlefield by optimizing the way it positions and utilizes its units. Don't expect spectacular improvements though: the actual A.I. routines cannot be changed.

    Incidentally, the EB team have made their own historical formations. I don't know if they have been optimized like Darth's are, but they are performing pretty well in my game.

    And we are trying to do even more for them, but we just aren't there yet.

    I have a question concerning programed formations (I've never tried Darth mods), does the AI stick to the formations? Because it seems no matter how the AI starts, they simply form a single line once the battle starts.

    The formation files don't just dictate the units positions, but also determine to a certain extent how they will behave once the battle starts. However, again, there is a limit to what you can do.

    They both seem to be working fine. Thorlof will you updating these for the 0.81 release? Do they need to be updated or can we just use these same files?

    Hmm, seems they are seperate mods. Thought it was some sort of merged one. Which one is recommended? What are the differences? It seems Darth's mod changes 2 files while Sin's just 1. Anybody know the details?

    this is Sinuhet and Darth in one to EB 0.81 (full wersion) with BI, some change to TBS v 0.22 - add schiltrom, some units change and more...berserker units. Next version mayby new formation to berserker units and schiltrom

    What kind of units get the berserker ability? Thor, I know there is a language barrier, but do you think a little readme might be in the works at all? I just want to know some more of the details of the mod, like what units exactly get what.

    This is some barbarians units - Wodanawulfoz, Gaesatae, Galatikoi Tindanatae , this men fighting in first line, attacks with holy frenzy for glory a Gods and him self. sorry for my english

    Hi Thorlof, great mod! More unit abilities = more fun for me, and the formations mod is a real must-have for my EB campaigns.

    I was wondering whether you were planning on updating your mod based on EB .81a's EDU? I hope the answer is yes ...

    Yes TBS new version http://files.filefront.com/TBSv026d_.../fileinfo.html is compatible with EB 0.81a. In next week new version TBS 0.3 with new units (hoplits from King Luis Assurbanipal , and few others , new skins ) new battle system (hard fight), and some change in formation ai

    Just to be clear: did you use the new .81a export description units file to build the new version of your mod? EB says that there are loads of unit stats updates in the new EDU file, and I want to make sure that your mod incorporated the changes they made.

    Does this work with saved games? Also does it work with EB without BI?

    Well, just using Darth's formations, I got the group formations to work in a custom battle without BI.

    Thorlof, how does this work? Can you explain how "unit_type light_pilum_infantry" works? I checked export_descr_unit.txt and the hastati still have their regular category : infantry and class : light.

    My goal here is to make just the roman manipular formation work for my current campaign and maybe give the AI Sinuhet's formations if it doesn't mess anything up.

    KarstenChu Sinuhet formation is more complicated as Darth.But working.I add some Darth formation to Sinuhet.But, there should be adjust to a Sinuhet formation.Sorry but My english is badly and I inability to explanation You variously between Darth and Sinuhet formation.
