can i recruit phalanxe pikeman at army barrack of Thracian?

hmmmmm just wondering...i know that this is not relevant to "RTW Guides", but is there a mod or fix that i can do to access production of phalanxes after i built the city barracks, cos the phalanxes where replaced with the bastarnaes, and i need the phalanxes!=(this is from mountaindew)

but i also wonder can i recruit phalanxe pikeman at army barrack of Thracian?

Coz i open the building structure of Thrace,i checked out the unit list of city barrack,there is phalanxe pikeman.but when i check army barrack,it is gone....
is it we cannot recruit phalanxe pikemen from Thracian army barrack?

can i edit in export_descr_buildings to enable the recruitment of phalanxe pikemen in Thracian army barrack ?

Yep, its a 1.1 bug and fixable.

Open export_descr_buildings.txt.

Look in army_barracks and royal_barracks entries, find the line:

recruit "greek pikemen" 0 requires factions { seleucid, macedon, }

Just change it to:

recruit "greek pikemen" 0 requires factions { thrace, seleucid, macedon, }

Now you'll be able to recruit Phalanx Pikeman from Army Barracks and above as Thrace.

yeah,i just done that,thanks.....

and,historically,does CARTHAGE got archers instead just having slingers?
those slingers just a little .......hard to use them to defending my walls....archers do it better...
