    I don't quite understand your question.:S

    If you are talking about the running and walking in game, it doesn't really change because its still the RTW engine. If you are talking about that they can run faster, its because the animation lets them do so.

    They have either changed the animation speed, the skeleton scale, or (most likely) the global battlemap terain movement values for speed.

    Posting in RTR's forum will of course get you an answer by someone who actually knows rather than in the general modding questions forum.

    Open the file descr_battle_map_movement_modifiers.txt and you'd see something like this:

    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

    climate default

    grass_short 1.0
    grass_long 1.0
    sand 1.0
    rock 1.0
    forest_dense 0.75
    scrub_dense 1.0
    swamp 1.0
    mud 1.0
    mud_road 1.0
    stone_road 1.0
    water 0.6
    ice 0.5
    snow 0.75

    ;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

    The number is the speed on that terrain.
