Hi ilikethisgame5,
Expanding upon what I of the Storm stated, the key to activate the console can also be the key with the ¬` symbol upon it. That key is directly below the Esc key in the top left hand corner of the keyboard.

To take a screenshot of your map you can then press the "Print Screen" key on your keyboard. The shot will be saved into either "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\tgas" should you have Gold edition or "C:\Program Files\Activision\Rome - Total War\tgas" should you have a standard version of R:TW, not Gold. Unfortunately, they are stored as a .tga file which is un-openable in standard windows programs and, sadly, also cannot be published on most image hosts. To open them and publish them they need converting. One of the most popular of these programs is Infranview, yet there are many others out there which can be easily located through a quick Google Search for "tga converter".

After you have converted your file you will need to crop it to just strip it down to the basic map. To do this you need to open the formerly .tga file in paint. To do this you simply have to right-click on the file and hover your mouse over Open With. On the list click "Paint". You can use other programs if you wish, but Paint is on your PC by defaut.

Afterwards, using the little squares on the side of your image as shown below....

....drag them till the faint grey line:

....is right next to the map:

Then repeat with the upper square:

Till you have your finished cropped map:

Click on file and press save. Now you can host it on the net through ImageShack!

To upload through ImageShack first you have to find the tool-bar within the Org - scroll down to find it while posting:

Simply click the browse button and go hunting for that file within your system!

Click "host it" and away you go, be patient, because imageshack is so large it could take up to about thirty seconds during high activity depending on the file size.

Next double click on the text which reads "Hotlink for forums one" or "Thumbnail for forums one", right click and press copy and then paste it into the Org. If you use high screen resolutions and are not using the thumbnails, then I recommend, for the benefit of the Org's poor old dial-up users, that you place your image in [ex][/ex] tags.

Hope this helps you, cheers!
