    Default Persistent CTD: Eleutheroi

Getting a persistent CTD during my current campaign as Carthage during the AI turn, specifically when it is doing the Eleutheroi's cycle. Turning the script off gets around the CTD, but it always returns as soon as the script is reactivated. I have gone 10 turns with the script off to try and get around it with no luck. With FOW turned off the problem seems to be coming from either Opiana or Ictis.

    Save game: http://rapidshare.com/files/21511295/CTD.sav.html

    Running .81a with BI.exe

    Hope this helps.

Have you tried the improved rebelling city CTD fix, found among the stickies on the main EB forum?

I suggest trying the traits file I recently posted here. Note that it kills a LOT of the EB experience, so only use it to get past that one turn before returning to the regular EDCT.

We have identified the problem. Its related to a buildingcomplex in Tuat, that helps keep track of the celtiberian alliance script. A fix will be implemented in future builds, for now I ll provide instructions on how to fix this:

    1. Go to: your install folder\eb\data\scripts\show_me and make a backup of ebbs_script.txt.

    2. Open EBBS_script.txt

    3. Search for this line:

    Code:
    console_command create_building Tuat hinterland_victory
    4. change this line into:

    Code:
    ; console_command create_building Tuat hinterland_victory
    5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for 6 times, cause there are a total of 7 entries of this line that all need to be commented out.

    6. Save and exit and continue the campaign.

Thank you for reporting the error .

Hmm, I made have done something wrong, or the script was installed inproperly... normal script is 5.27 mb right? Hopefully I just mixed up my edited script with the normal one.

And it was last modified 9.23.06?

My problem is similar (Romans, Summer, 218 BC, Crashes to Desktop), only, it happens the instant I hit the "End Turn" button. It doesn't even let the other factions come up to move, it just crashes. I tried uploading earlier on this thread (link below), but to no avail I'll try there later. Any ideas in the mean time? Same fix? Different fix?

    UPDATE:

v .81 WITHOUT THE HOTFIX (I wanted to finish this game before upgrading).

Just tried again, strangely when I clicked on a city and the advisor popped up telling me to run the scripts, I ignored him (to see if the problem was the same), and the whole turnset (all players) went fine. No crash.

    I have installed the hotfix...
    Deleted the map.rwm
    Disabled the "Autosave"

    Then played

And from that time, i had no "lethal" CTD so farr.

I am getting the same symptom but I can't use the permanent fix provided in the sticky since my computer hates rar files (always says the header is corrupt and that there is no file to extract, etc). So is there a non-rar version of the fix I can d/l or should I just use Oleo's fix posted earlier in this thread?
Campaign is Romani, 0.81a, only "mod" is the Force Diplomacy, I have a version of the Improved Rebel City CTD fix (not most recent), year 170 BCE.

Just apply the fix manually using my instructions. The rar-file is the easy way of doing the same thing.

    i have a similar problem:
    uploaded file at :http://www.axifile.com?3354027
I´m using the 0.81 a version of EB.
    Mods applied:
    1. EB v 81a New EDB

What's the significance of deleting the map.rwm file?
