....make the boards show who was the last person to post in a given topic? I can tell you it's one of the most useful things I have found about the many message boards I am affiliated to....helps you avoid unnecessarily revisiting a thread in which you were the last to post in!!
Any ideas commander in chiefs, deputy dogs or rookie robbins?

I know the feature you are talking about DoC, and I agree it's great! But it is by-and-large an "EZboard" thing + as far as I know it can't be implimented on UBB. Sorry scout!

Follow-up;
I talked to Zen over at AoK Heaven and he said that the UBB board over there was "built form the ground up". Totalwar.org's was a pre-installed version and thus we had very little control over the options during the set-up phase. At this point inacting the "last person to post" feature would require a code overhaul + we're not willing to risk the integrity of the MB just to add this one feature.
Sorry about that guys, but you've gotta admit: the MB is looking pretty darn sweet!

How about numbering each of the posts? In other forums, I like to refer to certain posts by number. This is especially useful if I refer to a post much earlier in the thread.
