I ask that because we have a furry footed ravenous friend among us. Day before last I went to the back yard to inspect my garden (growing some stuff to help supplement summer BBQs) . Being the eagle eyed hunter that I am I immediately noticed two rabbits that were dangerously close to my fresh organic (*cough*LemurBeruit) produce.
Well the fat tasty looking one sped off as soon as he saw me, the smaller one (less than a year old) did so as well for a couple feet then stopped. This little guy stops, looks at me, than promptly resumes munching not 20 feet from me. So I think, “What the hell, might as well fatten them up a little and I have plenty to spare."
During the course of my weeding I notice the brave little bugger edging closer to me and my 3x20’ of munchables, casually as ever. Not only did he approach to within 10 feet of me but he had the audacity to clean his face while looking at me. Of course I first thought: “Hmm, I’ll call you appetizer” but then I realized what a cheeky fellow this was. Not only did he not take off with pappa/mamma when he had the chance but he had absolutely no fear.
That’s when I decided to let him live, he amuses me. If I find the coward that took off and left him alone, I’ll have to loosen my belt when I’m done with him.![]()
