i just downloaded EB and it is fantastic, but i have one question. Is it possible to recruit roman troops (hastati, trarii) in any other regions but your homeland?

During Camillan Era, you can only recruit the Hastati, Principes, Triarii, etc... in your starting regions + Segesta (when you capture it).
During Polybian Era, you can recruit them in the Italian Peninsula (Mediolanum (not sure here, though), Patavium, to Rhegion, Taras). Basically in your homelands.

Then, when Marian and Imperial Era come, you can recruit Cohors Reformata, and the Imperial cohorts (I forgot their names, I never got them yet) in all settlements where you have a type II government installed.
