    Default The FA Cup

It's that time of the year again for the FA Cup.

    Chelski v Salford Red Sox.

Who would our esteemed posters wish to win this antediluvian competition final?

I wish there was a way for them both to lose, alas not possible.

As a Mancunian born and bred, I'm going to have to go for the Salford Red Sox. If only to see Jose slap his chin come the final whistle.

    Thoughts please.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

As an Arsenal fan, I hate Chelsea slightly less than I hate Manu(re). So I'd have to say Chelsea and also for them to stop manu getting the double

Chelsea better scrape it, or this season is going to have been one long
    disappointment, all across Europe.

However as the FA Cup means ever-so-slightly less to me, I would have
to say roll on the real big match, the truly scummy opposition, and the
genuine pain following the inevitable defeat... tomorrow.

[Note: should this match be won, we can look forward to the prospect
of possibly playing at such illustrious venues as the Éstadio de Reebok
    next season.]

I'd prefer Utd not to win the double. So Chelsea for me.

Utd because they have played some extremely entertaining games. Usually a games not super entertaining unless its your team, but for neutrals Man Utd have brilliant this season, brilliant football.

    West Brom or Derby?

I like Albion, (boing boing!) but the wifes from Derby, so the Rams it is.

    Exclamation Boring

What a boring first half... Man Utd even didn't have a chance to score! Except few attemmpts by Chelsea players (Drogba, Lampard, Right-Philips) one BIG nothing. Chelsea was most of time in offensive.

I'm going to watch Stuttgart - Cottbus in Bundesliga.

    EDIT

    2nd half

Not much better than 1st half. Giggs had best chance in the game so far. Average, boring, and anemic match...

    Thumbs up The End

Extra time was much better than the whole match.

Giggs was the best Man Utd player, no doubts, and he missed best chance(s) of match. Chelsea's score was briliant action Drogba-Lampard-Drogba.

Ronaldo was invisible whole match, Rooney almost the same.

Chelsea deserved to win, well, I think yes.

Fell asleep in the endless pre-match build-up, and woke up with Chelsea
climbing the steps to the trophy.

Nah, I'm talking about football up here. You know, the real North.
The only matches that matter here are the ones against the buns.
This one, which just happens to be on the final day, decides Uefa
    Cup qualification.

Fizzy pop play-offs are on Monday the 29th - forget the wife, West Brom
should go up. [If only so I can see that Brummie Croat-in-disguise Adrian
Chiles go through the mill when they go down next season.]
