Default Any reason for a seperate install?

Is it just "safer" that way or is it critically necessary as the mod might overwrite much needed folder(s) in vanilla Rome!?

By safer I just meant no CTD's, game freezes. Stuff like that.

It is not critically necessary, but AFAIK some files are overwritten. I believe the loading bar for one needs to be overwritten to work right. You're better off having it in its own home, but if you're short on space I suppose it will only hurt a bit to try having it along with other mods.

Someone once told me the Japanese sign for peace is a roof with one woman under it. The sign for war is a roof with two women under it. I have no idea whether that's true or merely a joke, but it's somewhat of an allegory for EB .
