    Thumbs down Eurotrashvision

    Winner: Serbia.

Sorry Rdece, but the song your country came up with is one of the worst songs I've eve heard in the past couple of years. No rythm, just a girl ( or a boy? what is he/she?) who's screaming something out of a mouth. Really, the song is disgusting.

Even though you might label me as nationalistic, I found that Romania had the most original tune, and even though I dont like the music in my country, I have to admit it was really good, and had catch for the public. Russia, with 5-6 girls copied it off a known hit (the music), Sweden tried to "copy" Abba, but Ukraine was damned hilarious with that guy who was dressed up...ehem...

But some of the songs, like United Kingdom ( what in the world was that? ), Macedonia ( see Serbia ), Bosnia Herzegovina ( ??? ) were top 12 and tunes like France, Latvia and Romania were left outside, is simply incredibly stupid. Or should I say, politically masterminded?

Sorry for being so one-sided, but just listen to the songs and then we will talk...

Ja mata, TosaInu. You will forever be remembered.

The best song won. Serbia's song sent shivers down my spine, despite the fact that I didn't understand the words. Overall it was a powerful song that was both beautiful and touching.

Where have you been living in the past couple of months? Cave? Monastery? Alone in the woods?

How could that song possibly be touching? Even church music is better in terms of beauty and message.

Well it is your loss if you failed to see the beauty of that song. Additionally I do not like your insinuation that I'd have to live in a bloody monastery or a cave to be touched by that song.

Perhaps Ireland should have gone with this one

Then again at least with the Dervish effort being so rubbish (even by eurovision standards) it means the bookmakers are paying out well 33/1 woohoo

Surely you're talking about Bulgaria? That was the screamer. Not this operatic
    wonderment.

Heh. And it's a matter of taste, I'd say. It's not my country, either, but naturally
I felt obliged to vote for its song purely on the basis that it's the first time they've
made it past the semi-final. I thought your song was dire, by the way.

[And I wasn't going to vote for the Serbian entry.] Oh, though did notice on tele
here that they showed the Croatian flag for the Serbian entry. Somebody has a dark
    sense of humour.

Bulgaria sucked too. That was something like "scream, scream and scream again, this time harder".

Romania dire? It was the most original one actually. We were the only ones who sang in more than 2 languages.

Hayko sold out with his English song!
I didn't care muich for the Haye (Armenian) version either, though.

I missed it this time around... just like last time, and the time before that, and before that... anyway, did Greece and Cyprus vote for each other?

Russia should have won, although whether it was really worth watching two hours of Eurovision for three hawt chicks I'm not sure.

I liked Finland's effort too, but has she got Nightwish in her record collection OR WHAT?

Otherwise, the Ukranian transvestite in silver foil singing a dance number in German (I think), summed up the true spirit of Eurovision for me. Sir/Madam, I salute you.

And, now I know the UK is NOT in a position to criticise here, but the Irish effort was pretty poor. I seriously thought we were in danger of little leprechauns capering onto the stage when the bodhran came out.

    Serbia: sorry, no.
