My turn's actions are conditional on the actions (and purses) of Faust and CA.

Edit: also, anything I put in my previous PM which I've failed to alter is still canon

You can blame timezones, CA. Keep in mind, you're WAY out east in comparison to most here. For example, I'm still on Monday afternoon/evening.
It is better to conquer yourself than to win a thousand battles. Then, the victory is yours. It cannot be taken from you, not by angels or by demons, heaven or hell.

    Rise of Civilizations
    Chapter III: War Continues

War has spread across much of the known world. In the North, Venetians have attacked and taken a city of the Guals. In Central Italy, the leader of the Etruscans has been killed. In the south, a great force assaulted a great Roman defending force at Capua, and was repulsed. Many thousands perished.

In the west, the Sardinians attack the people of Kender, and are also repulsed in their attempt to seize a city. Throughout the world, money changes hands between nations and armies are raised.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:

Turn Four has begun. Your Orders are due by Friday.

IMPORTANT: Unless told to me via PM or this thread, all nations still trade with each other until their forces engage in physical combat.

Kender, we give you a chance to surrender. Give us Caleim and become our vassal, then we shall let you live in peace. Be wise and accept it, or you will face annihilation.

What can I say - I use random.org to obtain random numbers and read the generated numbers down the columns. If you have another suggestion for random numbers, I'll listen. I'd agree that the dice did cheat you, and you not taking the city surprised me.

    Sorry, not meant seriously.

I'm not complaining. The rules aren't in the favour of the distant attacker, which is realistic and reasonable.

Thats funny. Seriously. You think that you can attack our humble people and get away with it? We have already offered peace to you people, and you declined, so that you may come up on us from your island and lay waste to our farmers! I have seen the attrocities your men have commited in the countryside. I will not stand for it! We will fight to the last man! You have already failed miserably in your assault, and you will do so again, and again, and again, untill I stand as the ruler of the great isles.
You have provoked me, and now you will pay with your head.

It appears to me that those who havent been attacked or havent attacked have the odds in their favor for the moment as they will have time to pool their resources and enlarge their influence. This the ghost of Etrusca thinks.

We didn't attack your "humble people", we are liberating your people from your evil tyranny and oppression. Those whom we attacked were your fanatic and brutal followers, whom you often used to oppress and persecute your own people. And some were mere mercenaries.

You can stop spreading false information and trying to gain support from your people using lie. Because they know the truth, they do not support you and they will happily support us to liberate them. Such "atrocities" were your imagination.

Once again, I am not a tyrant. You have a small band of desserters attacking helpess farmers, and impaling them upon stakes in their own fields! I would be most grateful if you would discipline them, as I am not really in a position to do so, what with your armies in the field and all.

None have abandoned me, and my people have not been fed lies. Your false accusations are getting to be annoying. Besides, those of my disgraceful people who have been oppressive to my subjects have been beheaded accordingly.

I am called "Ironfist" as I do not put up with nonsense from my followers. Nonsense such as the "brutalizing" you were mentioning earlier. Unfortunately, ironfist could also be taken as a dictatorship trait. I gave up trying to get rid of the title a decade ago.
