    Default Papal Power!

It scared me when i first saw this, but now the pope is my ally for some reason it seems there was a war between the papal states and the milanese, and i dont think the milanese were doing the invading...

Anyways it made me lol a bit, so i'd thought i show you:

    Brave Sir Robin ran away.
    Bravely ran away, away!
When danger reared its ugly head,
He bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about
    And gallantly he chickened out.
    Bravely taking to his feet
He beat a very brave retreat,
Bravest of the brave, Sir Robin!

Well... Milanese were probably excommunicated, otherwise pope cannot attack, but i have never been attacked or blockaded by pope when playing Milanese, Venetian or Sicilian even if being excommunicated (as Venetians i got excommunicated because Greece wasn´t just enough )

Well, if the pope is your ally, try attacking someone with an papal unit or fleet within range for reinforcement. They'll come to your aid and, alas, there's your foe at war with the papal states. At least, that's how I got a war with that guy in rome .

I need to take a screenshot of my current Russian campaign. The Papal States control all of Italy up to Switzerland, Sicily, Tripoli, and Tunis. They are a freaking powerhouse. The last three crusades have been against excommunicated factions (Sicily and Milan) and the Papal States beat everyone to them every time.

Luckily, I am allied with the Pope! Time to reuinte the Church!

What is most shocking; the papal powerhouse, or that in 66 turns of playing you haven't taken Norway yet!
Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban
