Eliminating Senate Panel?

Is there a way to remove the button that brings up the senate panel?

not graphically but if you aren't using senate functionality you can get rid of senate tab and senate offices button by internally re-naming the romans_senate - see end of this thread:

I put up files for doing that to vanilla - you'd need to do your own if you already modded game.

that also makes the SPQR slot available for use as a standard faction without hard-coded problems
