    I've always believed the Falwell vs LArry flint debacle was similar to the Andy Kaufman vs Lawler fued, a totally staged act between two opposites looking to gain notoriety amongst their peers.



    Falwell, and his bogus suit against Flint for a satirical piece in a porn magazine, helped shape the US legal standard for libel/slander and as such he deserves a permanant place in 1st amendment textbooks forever and ever. Rest in peace u crazy bastard.

    Meh, I don't care enough to really say anything else on this subject, but I will say this much. My opinion posted earlier was an extremely politically corrected manner of stating my true thoughts.

    As for the respect, someone who didn't earn it while they were living doesn't mean they suddenly get it from me when they kick the bucket.
