hello eveybody! it's been a year since i haven't written on this forum..so much time has passed from my last campaign on Medieval TW. Now that i have found some spare time, i decided to put my attention on Rome...i have a question: i heard everybody talking bout a crash to desktop around 261 ac, i have downloaded a patch called Historic_EVents_to_RTW_1.5.exe, as i have the RTW upgraded to 1.5version. But when i double-click on the patch, it doesn't seem to work, the file doesn't open except for a 2-seconds Ms-dos window...if anybody can help me...thanx!! (sorry for my english....i'm italian...)

Hi and welcome dragone,
I'm not too sure, but perhaps the MS-DOS window was the installer - .xpak files may have had to be changed in the installation process and to do this they need un-packing and then repacking. A 16 bit program (MS-DOS) may be the program that did this action, so, perhaps the patch is installed. Hope this helps, cheers!

maybe u r right...when i'll arrive to 261ac, we'll see if the patch has been succesfully installed...thanx anyway!
