playable rebels?

I was wondering if there was any simple way to make the rebels playable (I remember doing this in rtw by getting into a certain file) and if you could make them playable would you be able to get welsh longbowmen?

hi hellenic hoplite open up the console by pressing ' or @ then type control slave this allows you to control the rebels or any other faction if you type there name in. No idea about longbows.

Now it doesn't work for me either
I think it might be because before i had the hotseat option enabled i'll put the text on in a minute

Yep you need to enable hotseat put this in your medieval preferences folder
