    Hi Globe,
    That's not Mundus Magnus - I think it's either R:TG's map or R:TR's map. Mugdus Magnus is much bigger than that! You download Mugdus Magnus' here. Hope this helps, cheers!

    BTW, sorry, but I'm not too sure about your other problem. Apologies.

    This is the Map of Roma Surrectum for RTW 1.5

    You can find them in the RTW Mod section

    The map I see described, that being stretching a bit further South and East sounds a wee bit like the XGM map which also stretches a wee bit North as well, far enough to include Scotland.

    If you wish to check out the download;

    You will need to have 1.5 or 1.6 already installed, I believe that to be BI.

    You will find some of the factions quite different, but all in all, I rather enjoy it.

    Nope, it aint the RTG map Omanes, at least not the version i played (im fairly sure it's the latest version). RTG had the same map size, it didnt expand across the persian gulf/caspian sea, and it didnt go further north, but it did have many more provinces. Thus im gonna assume it'd RTRs map.

    RTG used a revised Vanilla map, XGM uses the Mundus Magnus, Roma Surrectum uses this one, the Warmap, or as DVK and the Roma Surrectum team call it, the BigMap.

    Mundus Magnus extends in all directions IIRC, with max settlements, while the Warmap/Bigmap doesn't have all the settlement, but it has a much bigger scale. I don't think RTR uses this,

    To deal with your Vista problem, you might have to disable User Account Control.

    It should appear uinder provincial campaign, not imperial so you don't lose your original map. You could delete the files that make up them map in the RTW directory, I guess that's the closest thing to 'disableing' the map.

    if that's not your question...I dunno.

    Yes, I most certainly have, although it's a highly outdated version, somewhere at least, although it's hiding on a utilities CD that came free with the PC I purchased in 1997 (the PC is still in the cupboard under a pile of boxes) which I bought in 1998 from some local guy. It's got lost over the years, I haven't needed it with XP since a .zip extractor comes bundled in. Yet I know I have it hiding somewhere - the only question is where. May I ask why you want to know this information? Thanks, cheers!

    Ilikethisgame5,

    If you have windows XP or a later version, you should be able to extract the file without winzip. Just right click on the .zip file and one of the popup menu options will be 'Extract All..." Click on that item and the extraction wizard will start. Just follow the steps and you be able to unzip the file.
