    I've been playing another Celt campaign lately, and i've got a few general questions, probably not bugs

    1. In the rebel settlement north of Bibracte there are Belgae Milnaht units stationed from the start. Shouldn't they need the first reform to recruit?
    2. Why does the ''famous victor'' trait only give 1 influence (the same as just ''victor'', but -3 security? It would make sense that a famous general had more bodyguards, not less
    You could argue that the foreign enemies would want to assassinate him more, but that wouldn't make him any easier to kill, just add to the possibility of someone trying to. If that is the case, though, then the faction leader and heir should have like -10 security
    3. The ''wealthy'' trait, again, reduces security, so it then seems that the guy doesn't hire more bodyguards, and their enemies have decided to hunt rich people to extinction.
    Also, it adds unrest - but doesn't it make sense that all kings, governors and whatnot are wealthy? And, being wealthy was in the Gallic society a prerequisite for gaining a high position, so why should the people be upset about it?

    These minor things don't really detract from the overall quality of the mod, but i was just curious

    Don't take this as the official response, these are just my thoughts on the matter.
    1) Dunno.
    2) I think the rationale is that a man gaining tons of victories will begin to think of himself as invulnerable. Which he of course is not. The same for the trait where he is protected by the gods. He gets influence from it but might find out it's not really the case at some point.
    3) A wealthy man could have gotten his assets by not-so-nice means. The ones he slighted might be more liable to betray him or aid an assassin. And some people might envy his wealth. He might even flaunt it.

    Also, the wealthy trait decreases unrest, unless its being displayed improperly. Since I usually only get that with my settled governors (or after a few generations of family) the personal security is not really a problem for me. And bovi's responses seem to jive with the in-game descriptions of the traits. If you look through the history books how many times does a great victor get pre-emptively killed by a jealous rival or paranoid king? I, for one, can perfectly understand the rationale.
    As for (1) I would expect that is to make the Belgae provinces very hard to conquer by the AI, as it should be. More than once I have witnessed the Sweboz spending a couple decades trying to subdue the Belgae provinces.
