Eastern buildings
Well there are buildings for them, just for some reason it switches to middle eastern once you get past a certain level.

I just think their recruitment was only meant to be simple because they only appear for the end part of the game. More than likely they'll be fleshed out more for the Americas campaign in Kingdoms.
