    To access the battle editor you have to open the medieval2.preferenence cfg file with notepad and add this line in at the bottom of the text.

    editor = true

    Please check my post in the buglist thread. The changes to the preferences.cfg file are still not permanent post patch. Each time you start your PC you will need to add that new line. Another observation is that the camera will not rotate, it will only move forward/backward side to side. Unless there is some different command for this that I am unaware of

    It can rotate, I can be wrong but I believe numlock 8 is forward, 2 is back. 4 is to the left and 6 to the right. And either 7 and 9 or 1 and 3 can rotate it.

    Workaround: Make a copy of the .cfg file after editing and store it somewhere else. After rebooting, copy and paste that copy back in the main folder.

    I assume that it uses the default camera, which is not the Total War-Camera. I haven't been able to move the camera in a useful way, too.

    You are absolutely right Stig
    I wonder if anyone knows why the battle description does not appear at start of battle?
    I have made a reproduction of the Battle of Liegnitz, have run it a few times and adjusted unit strengths etc. It is more or less finished and seems to be playing quite well but the description of the battle that I created is missing. All it says in the box is 'no description'. This did not happen in RTW so I am scratching my head a bit. It's no big deal but it just finishes the job better.
    I'll upload it once it's done
