I agree with nara as well. I propose, in order to slow the French, we donate monies to the Holy Roman Empire in order to increase their expansion - even form an alliance with them - we must protect ourselves against our certain enemies.

However, I disagree with the plan of risking Caen and our foothold on mainland Europe, especially with Law 1.1 in effect expanding our reach to Rennes and Bruges. Especially we should focus on Bruges, as it is in a prime place to be a trading hub and deny the Dutch extra territory.
