My fellow electors, I see we have an agreeance amongst us. We must unite the Isles, while preserving Caen for an attack into French lands. Don't let my earlier words about Caen mislead you. Though it would be a sad day, we must be willing to accept that as we unite the Isles, we could end up losing Caen as we put more money to the Isle.

Now my fellow's I suggest we leave Caen with a good enough garrison so as to beat off the French. The force shouldn't be all too big, or we will never be able to launch successful attacks into Wales or Scotland or Ireland. But it shouldn't be so samll that a group peasants could have half a chance to take it.

I still say we should give donations to the Pope, so as to be on better grounds with him, and to ally ourselves with the Holy Roman Emperor. We, could then use the emperor as a means to keep the French busy, and let us take the Isle, and areas arround Caen with just a bit less of rush.
