Unit Naming

Gents;

Is there anyway you can name your units, or some sort of custom designation, like Legio I Augustus (I know it's a little beyond our period). One of the neat things I liked about Panzer General II, was the ability to Name each unit. Apologies if this has been discussed before.

It can be done, but I have only seen it in Barbarian Invasion with the First Legionary Cohorts, but that wasn't player choice. It was dependent upon where the unit was recruited and what order. Whether it could be done individually for units that are your favorite, such as a group of Pezhetairoi that you are fond of, I have no idea.
