    EDIT:Beirut, it was 3k plus 10,000 in court fees. But being as they would be Auzzie $$ it wasn't really that much.

    Seriously it is a slap on the wrist... but the drugs are more therapeutic in nature then recreational/destructive.

    Good the Aussies spare no celebrity tho'.

    As long as Joe Smuggler gets the same treatment for the same amount of drugs, I'm OK with it.

    Anyone know what the Burmese (Myanmar) penalties might be for importing illegal substances? The Aussies might have saved his life.
