Anyone ever tried to restore the alliance with the other Roman factions after the war started? And if you can restore all the alliances, do you start over in that regard? Will you get normal senate messages again?

As far as i know - i failed - it is not possible to please Rome - not the people, the senate - after you have been labeled a rebel, outlaw etc . High bribes don`t help either, offering regions, or all your money ... i had 49000 denarii when ended the turn got + 27700 ... i offered all was rejected by all 3 roman factions ...
If there a way i would like to know ... not that i intend to make peace whit all of them

Nah, I don't want peace either really. Was just asking for interest sake. The diplomacy in Total War never appealed to me. The AI is just too unpredictable.

Maybe the reason you could attack without getting the message Theodoric was that the other Roman factions were outlawed but not you.
