I was going to ask this somewhere else but this is close enough to my question, what line do I edit in the Pref. File to turn of the green circles? I've found the banner one but the banners don't bother me.

You change "arrow markers" or something similar from true to false, well, I think you do 'cos there's nothing in my chuffing preference file.
