Default Can I remove two roman factions from the campaign mode?

I just bought RTW (again after I sold my first copy like two years ago) because they sold it for 5 bucks and it was a quite good game.

Anyway, I'd like to play a campiagn with only one (+ senate) roman faction for a change, because the civil war kinda gets on my nerves. If I had only the Julii for example I could concentrate on the Barbarians of the ancient world instead of ramming metal into roman flesh.

So, I know how to make other roman factions playable with editing the decr files, but how can I remvoe factions from the game alltogether?

I hope there is a way. Thanks in advance for any help with this.

How come there is no "edit" button?

Anyway, I wanted to add that I have already tried the "kill_faction" command but it didnt work.
