GMT -4 is the time zone five/four hours behind the UK. It varies depending upon daylight saving changes.
It covers the regions shown marked by a "4" at the top of their column in the West - this includes Brazil, Santiago, Bolivia, Paraguay, and Venezuela as shown in this picture (BTW, it's very large, so it may be slow to load on dial-up or slower internet connections):
