    Have you just been dumped?

I ask because it's usually something like that which causes outbursts like this, needless to say I dissagree completely.

I quite doubt anything that would qualify as an "uniform" was used at that time. Took a century or so longer before those started appearing on someone other than galley slaves and the like, AFAIK.

I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. --- Proof of the existence of the FSM, if needed, can be found in the recent uptick of global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."

The first time guns are recorded as having been used by an English army was at the siege of Berwick in 1333. Some have commented that the way they are were described as having been used suggests that their purpose was to fire over the walls and burn buildings inside, which would help to explain why trebuchets and other engines continued to be used for several decades more. Other early references include the use of "gonnes" at Crecy, a muster of soldiers at Norwich in 1350, to which two leading citizens took hand guns, and a record of prices of various things which noted that guns were very cheap compared to a springald (13s 4d versus £3 6s 8d). Cannon were used at Cherbourg in 1379. All this can be found in easily available books, edited collections, and journal articles and they will point you in the direction of the primary sources, which should be your first port of call if you are a historian. I don't intend any offence but quite frankly it is not good academic or professional practice to garner information for anything that is to be published from an internet forum on a video game, or Wikipedia.
