patch 1.2 problem

Yo guys,

I installed the 1.2 patch, but i now i'm having no tooltip descriptions like for i want to build something it doesn't say what building it is or for instance by your general it doesn't say what retinue he has.

can ya guys help me out thanks.

Did you uninstall the game then reinstall it then patch?

This issue was raised earlier in another thread. I was also facing the same issue and then discovered that I was using a bad No-DVD patch. You can try the game without the No-DVD patch or use another working patch.

Remove the crack/and or incompatible mod that you're using, and reinstall using a legit copy of the game.

Can you recomemend a good no cd patch. I prefer to have the whole game available on the hard drive and the dvd safe ( stops the kids playing frisbee)

on the install matter, i read theres a few problems.

Do you
Install game, reboot.
Add patch, reboot,
then add mod say KOTR vnv patch, reboot.

or can you do it all in one go and reboot.
