    Default MTW2 disk problem

    Hi all,

I had a catastrophe a few weeks back, a small fire in my computer room. Everything's ok now (including my burnt hands ) except for the disk I need in my drive to start MTW2.

It was in the drive when the conflagration started and it's not being recognised in the drive. I've tried beating cleaning the bugger but to no avail.

I remember a few years ago about damaged disks being replaced by CA. Is this still the case? Or will I have to purchase another copy from my local software emporium?

    Thanks in advance.

Note to the mods; If this is in the wrong forum, I would be most obliged if you could correct my mistake.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I suspect the best idea is to ask them, though I can't see why it would be a problem. The license grants you the right to use the software and has nothing to do with disk itself.

I've certainly obtained replacement disks from aoftware companies in the past, though I think one did make a small handling charge to cover postage etc.
