Post Re: The Glorious Migration of the Scythians

    Hi IceWolf,
To take a screeshot, simply press the "Print Screen" on your keyboard. It is in the section between the letter pad and the numeric keypad above the delete key and the insert key on a standard English keyboard.

Press it as many times as you like to take as many screenshots as you desire in one game of R:TW! Afteryou have completed your screenie festival, you can gain access to them by going into your "C:\Program Files\The Creative Assembly\Rome - Total War\tgas" folder where they are stored as .tga files. Most unfortunately, this file type cannot be stored on ImageShack or any other hosts, so, it requires conversion to a different file type. I prefer to change it to a .gif file, although any of ".jpg", ".jpeg" ".png", ".gif", ".bmp", ".tif", ".tiff" or ".swf" will be fine for hosting, using this program. However, a quick Google Search for a tga converter, provides a brilliant list of high-quality converter software.

Once you have converted your file to a more commonly used file type, you need to host it on the internet! To upload through the supreme and popular ImageShack, you have to find the handy tool-bar within the Org - simply scroll down to find it while posting:

Simply click the browse button and go hunting for that now converted screenie within your system!

Click "host it" and away you go, be patient, because imageshack is so large it could take up to about thirty seconds during high activity depending on the file size.

Next double click on the text which reads "Hotlink for forums one" or "Thumbnail for forums one", right click and press copy and then paste it into the Org!

Once you've done all that, press "Submit Reply" in the Org, and your image is posted! Hope this helps you, good luck, cheers!

BTW, it sounds great so far.
