Ranks in MTW

I hope they change the ranking in MTW. No offense, but getting from rank 5 to rank 6 was not exiting for me. Again, IT is just MY opinion.

But it is certainly more realistic to have more then just rank in winning batles. I think the 'dread' and 'pity' (etc.) features make the game better. I wish they had added it in STW (Odas dread would be through the roof).

Agreed. Straight logarithmic or exponential formulas for experience and stuff like that makes things ridiculous at the end.

I would be good to disconnect experience from command personalities sometimes. In STW the daimyo always commands when present as presumably so will the king in MTW. However, if the king's brother His Grace the Duke of Wherever is a wine bosotted fool or worse yet, a downright idiot, then you should probably be stuck with him with few alternatives, blood being thicker than water and all that. As a player wou would have to win despite his presence and never because of it.

that's a good point---you could always leave him standing around somewhere. it's interesting to see how far CA will go with the realism. because after all blood is thicker...

Given what happened with the (something)th Crusade in Egypt there should also be a risk of a Cardinal coming along and taking over your army in the name of his holiness. And there should be army mascots, should be able to go hawking for some of those confounded birds that keep giving away the ambushes.
