Game Speed

Before anyone says anything, this isn't anything to do with the loading screens or anything of that nature, this is actually to do with the speed of everything on the battle map. Anytime i go into battle, all the units seem to be acting faster than they should, much like if they are on the 3X speed, they move extra fast when moved around and even the camera is jittery when moving, just like it is when you put it on fast forward. When the unit stand still, they seem to still be on 3X speed with their movements (kicking their feet, moving their arms etc) and this has been getting to me a bit since it is taking away from my enjoyment of the game. I've noticed that the campaign map is also pretty fast too (the ocean seems to be moving faster than usual) but that doesn't bother me as much as the battle map does. Is there anyway to sort this out?

Someone else had this problem but I can't find the post. I think the solution was to install some driver for the dual-core processor.

Thanks, the driver update did the job. I've just recently made this comp and it seems that i forgot to update all my drivers (i have no idea how i did ) but thanks for the help.

Nice. This whole time I had to ctrl+alt+dlt out of every game that was screwed up because of it, set the affinity to one CPU and go back. Never knew about the dual core optimizer patch. Haven't tried it yet but just installed, assuming it'll work just fine. Thanks!
