For the latest evolution of my recruitment mod, I am need the most important of the greek bosphoross cities, my question being which was the most imporatant?


Chersonesos, Pantikapaion, or even Olbia?

Chersonesos... (IIRC).

And don't forget that Tanais is generally part of Bosphoria.

I would choose Pantikapaion the capital of the bosporan kingdom. Chersonesos largely could keep it's independence.

I thought Chersonesos was larger though. And more important to Pontus and Rome later on. But I am no historian and it was just a guess.
