    Well I have just completed the demo either side of watching the glorious Koreans kick Italian butt!
    What a great day.

    Don't want to spoil the surprise of all the new features but it's looking to be a great move forward for Total War.

    Did notice that units seem to gain honour quicker than in STW, which will be good.
    The one real problem with the AI in STW was that it never created good armies with all high honour units grouped with a high honour general like a human would. Now with the amount of fighting the AI does it will inevitabley gain those higher honour levels. Hopefully the AI will be smarter in it's army creations as well and actually out honour us!
    Seems the full game release date is 23rd August, if the readme in the Demo is correct.

    Did anyone find the last battle a little too easy? Must have played STW too much. Maybe i'll go up the honour levels of enemy and try again.

    I dont think it is set to realease August 23, 2002, at least not in the US. They would be hyping it more...

    Still no official word on a release date, that I have seen...

    but that would be aweseome.

    yeah sure the demo is hardly gonna be the hardest thing ever if you've played shoggy and/or mongol invasion to death.

    PcGamer quote the release as August and the date is in the readme.
    Maybe U.S. will be '2 weeks' behind!

    I think that the last battle was made over easy knowing that we could easily go edit it and make it harder as we wish, although the AI did seem a little lacking.

    in the last battle of the demo if you kill saladin the enemy rout if you move towards them even if you improve their honour.
