I am playing as Milan on Med/ med. I am real friendly with the pope and I have 3 cardinals in the college. I have conquered Tunis, Algiers and Tripoli and I have several Cardinals and Priests converting the locals in these areas. I have 7 crosses on the papal popularity scale. With all of this why are the Inquistitors killing off my generals. I had one pesky Inquistitor whacked, but I know this can backfire on me (excommunication). What can I do to the Inquisitors, can they be bribed.
